Resus Energy PLC announced that it has successfully commissioned its 2MW solar power facility located in Damana, Ampara, with commercial operations officially starting on 18 September 2026.
The facility was developed and executed through Resus Eastern Solar Ltd., a fully-owned subsidiary of Resus Energy PLC. It is projected to generate and deliver approximately 3.5 GWh of clean energy to the national grid each year.
According to the company, this addition reinforces the group’s growing renewable energy portfolio and contributes to Sri Lanka’s broader push toward sustainable energy adoption.
